Because we believe good work should ripple beyond the job site.
At Porchlight Plumbing, our story has always been about people. Not just pipes, water heaters, or repairs—but the families, neighbors, and small businesses that make the Piedmont Triad home.
For more than three decades, this community has trusted us to keep their homes running right. That trust means everything to us—and it’s why we believe in giving back. Our success is rooted here, in the neighborhoods that supported us from day one. And now, we’re focused on doing our part to return that same care in meaningful ways.
This page is about that commitment—how we’re building a future of service that extends beyond plumbing.
We believe local businesses have a responsibility to strengthen the communities they serve. To us, that means more than doing honest work—it means being a steady hand, a reliable neighbor, and a positive force where it counts most.
Every repair we make is a reminder that home is where comfort and care begin. By supporting the people who make this region thrive—families, schools, small nonprofits—we’re helping build a stronger foundation for everyone.
We don’t just work here. We live here, shop here, raise our kids here. Giving back isn’t charity; it’s community in action.
Right now, we’re laying the groundwork for a more structured community involvement program. We’re starting small—but with heart.
Our goals are simple:
These aren’t corporate initiatives—they’re neighborly commitments. Each step is guided by the same principle that drives our work: Do what’s right, and do it with care.
At the core of Porchlight Plumbing is a simple truth: we fix things because we care about people.
That same spirit guides how we approach community giving. Whether it’s repairing a water heater for a struggling family, sponsoring a youth sports team, or volunteering at a local charity event, we believe every act of service — big or small — creates a ripple of good.
One of our proudest contributions was providing the plumbing services for a Military Makeover with Montel home renovation — an opportunity to give back to a deserving veteran and their family. Acts like this remind us why we do what we do: to make a real difference for the people who’ve given so much to our community and our country.
Our team members are more than skilled tradesmen; they’re neighbors who show up when someone needs help. They bring the same dedication and craftsmanship to their volunteer work as they do to every home they visit.
Our vision for the future is rooted in hope and hands-on help. In the coming year, Porchlight Plumbing plans to formalize its Community Care Initiative—a program dedicated to consistent giving and volunteerism across the Triad.
This initiative will focus on three key areas:
It’s a continuation of what we’ve always believed: a strong community doesn’t happen by accident—it’s built by people who care enough to act.
We’re just getting started, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
If you know of a local cause, family, or organization that could use a helping hand, tell us. We’re always looking for meaningful ways to make a difference—whether that’s through donated service, sponsorship, or simple neighborly support.
You can reach out directly through our Contact Page or talk with any member of our team during your next service visit.
Because when the community thrives, we all do.
The Piedmont Triad has given us so much—trust, loyalty, and decades of support. Giving back is our way of saying thank you.
As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to be a plumbing company that stands for honesty, craftsmanship, and compassion. Not just in the work we do, but in how we serve the place we call home.
At Porchlight Plumbing, we’re not just fixing leaks—we’re helping build a community that lasts.
